Digital Story Workshop is a project-based educational media program that invites children to collaborate with a teaching-artist/videographer to produce short videos based on the children's imaginative play.  The finished products contain stories told by the children, who often wear special costumes and play either with objects they have made, or with mysterious objects that the teaching artist hides and waits for them to find and playfully explore.  This program is based on the Vygotskian model of teacher-facilitation, wherein adults collaborate with children to enable their play and learning to reach a higher intellectual level.

Digital Story Workshop is supported by research in the fields of Art Education and Children's Media.

Since 2001, Digital Story Workshop has worked on many projects in NY and around the world.

Currently Kristin B. Eno of DSW is putting her energies into Little Creatures, making thoughtful, beautiful films in collaboration with 3-10 year-old children, for distribution to families, museums and schools.
